The Engineering Case

from cable to busbar.

For high-current distribution, busbar trunking outperforms parallel cable on losses, fire safety, fault performance and lifecycle cost. The difference compounds at scale.

Efficiency & Lower Losses

Compact conductors provide low impedance. This results in measurably lower I²R losses and reduced voltage drop compared to multiple parallel cable runs.

Superior Fire Safety

Unlike combustible cable insulation in shafts, our sandwich construction is non-propagating and provides strictly defined fire and arc withstand behavior.

Ultimate Flexibility

Reconfiguring cables requires slow, costly re-pulling. Busbar allows you to add or relocate loads via plug-in tap-off boxes in minutes, entirely live.

Compact footprint

A rigid structural enclosure takes up significantly less space than sprawling cable trays, whilst easily withstanding massive electromechanical fault stresses.
